David Craft’s journey into physical therapy began with something deeper than textbooks or training—it started with witnessing transformation firsthand.
After watching a family member regain their life through rehab, David knew he wanted to dedicate his own life to helping others move better, feel stronger, and live fully.

That purpose only grew after a broken tibia in college tested his limits and reignited his passion for health, fitness, and performance. Drawing from both personal experience and professional expertise, David bridges the gap between rehab and real-world strength—helping clients not only recover but thrive.

He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida and brings the mindset of a former collegiate athlete, having played baseball at Piedmont University. David’s approach goes beyond symptom relief—his goal is to empower clients through education, movement, and personalized strategies built for long-term success.

Whether you're coming back from injury or chasing your next PR, David is here to guide you through every step—with clarity, care, and a relentless commitment to your growth.

Outside the clinic, you'll likely find him training, hiking, or spending time with his wife Carly and their two dogs, Moose and Mac.

Davis brings a deep passion for performance, recovery, and long-term wellness to the Elite Movement team, specializing in helping active individuals not just return to what they love—but level up.

A former collegiate soccer player at Queens University of Charlotte, Davis earned his degree in Exercise and Sport Science before going on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His foundation in both athletic performance and clinical rehab gives him a unique ability to bridge the gap between injury recovery and high-level training.

As a sports physical therapist and certified personal trainer (ACSM), Davis blends evidence-based rehab with performance-driven programming. He’s worked with a wide range of clients—from Division I and professional athletes getting back on the field, to everyday movers who just want to stay strong, mobile, and pain-free.

Davis is all about individualized care that empowers people to recover, perform, and thrive—no matter their starting point.

When he's not in the clinic, you’ll probably find him lifting, running, playing soccer, exploring a trail, or hanging with  his chocolate lab, Maple.

At Elite Movement, Davis embodies what we’re all about—bridging rehab and performance, meeting people where they are, and helping them build a life of resilient, empowered movement.
